- Audit and inventory computer applications recognizing and defining the individuals and departments that utilize each platform
- Perform job shadowing and interpret the various goals and objectives of City departments and divisions
- Analyze and propose continuously improving resource allocation across City departments
- Identify, synthesize, propose and implement changes and improvements to processes and protocols in leveraging applications with a comprehensive and effective approach
- Drive a continuously improving data and document management and collaboration program, increasing the efficiency and deliverables of the organization
- Research, evaluate, and propose electronically accessible documentation and paperless practices
- Provide subject matter expertise in various computer applications and their best use and provide troubleshooting and escalation to City staff and outside parties
- Facilitate the integration of computer applications and act as the liaison for City staff and government officials in consuming various technology assets and solutions
- Manage software licensing including inventory, quotations, procurement, pricing and consumption models and other terms
- Pilot and test, implement, configure, manage, operate, and support a wide variety of equipment and software
- Perform installations and upgrades, conduct testing of routine applications, and maintain computer and application inventory and access controls
- Identify training needs on computer systems and equipment
- Coordinate and deliver on-site and virtual support and training
- Develop, maintain, verify, and update operational procedures and documentation
- Coordinate the decommissioning of programs and the migration of datasets from one application or service to another
- Manage service level agreements and warranties of various vendors and contractors ensuring alignment with the best interests of the City
- Network and maintain continuing relationships with aligned vendors and municipal peers in the best interests of the City
- Participate in the development of technology policies and procedures

Bachelor's degree and three years of relative technology experience; or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job such as those listed above.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
