What are the responsibilities and job description for the Theater Company Manager position at City of Cleveland Heights?
Reports directly to the Production Manager or General Manager.
Required to work in a collaborative work environment with the Assistant Production Manager.
- Partner with the rest of the Cain Park production team, on the day-to-day operations and management of all Alma Theatre and Evans Amphitheater productions.
- Manage contract execution process for independent contractor talent included but not limited to actors, directors, etc.
- Attend cross-department and other relayed meetings
- Provide artist hospitality, including, but not limited to, delivery of gifts to artists, providing food and snacks as needed.
- Facilitate appropriate security access for artists with the Operations Staff.
- Plan and coordinate in-person gatherings i.e. meet and greets
- Work with the House Seats Coordinator(s) to manage house seats for artists, staff, and presenters
- Be in attendance for curtains and assist the Box Office to handle artist ticketing concerns
- Process, report, and track of payroll and benefit payments for equity performers.
- Track budgets and file reports related to all assigned projects

- Assist as a stage hand/deck coordinator for assigned shows
- Flexible schedule- required to work nights and weekends as well as some holidays
- Other reasonable duties as assigned by the Production Manager or General Manager
Bachelor's Degree a must.
At least 5 years in a similar position.
Valid driver's license.
Job requires evening and weekend hours.
Must provide references.
Salary : $428 - $720
