POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary purpose of the Case Management Services Clerk is to update the official electronic Court docket. Must perform daily job responsibilities related to the Case Management System and docketing of all Court records and pleadings. This includes all Magistrates decisions and Judgment entries, issuing Writs of Restitution, reissuing summons and copies of complaints and all service methods requests and return of same and any and all activities either prejudgment or post judgment recorded in Cleveland Municipal Court.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Verify that the information on the complaint matches the data in the computer.
Examine processing for neatness, exactness and accuracy.
Compare data entered with source documents to ensure that data entry is accurate.
Scan documents when appropriate.
Provides excellent customer service to internal and external customers in person and on the phones.
Responsible for getting files from the Housing Division.
Provides excellent Customer Service in person at the Counter and on the phone.
Journalizes administrative orders for General and Housing Divisions.
Any duties necessary to ensure the smooth operations of the Clerk of Courts office.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
