· Network Administration: Manage and maintain enterprise-level networking hardware, including Cisco routers, Cisco Nexus switches, and Meraki wireless infrastructure. Security & Access Control: Implement and manage Cisco ISE for identity-based network access and Palo Alto firewalls for perimeter security and traffic filtering. Traffic Monitoring & Analysis: Utilize NetFlow traffic monitoring to analyze network performance, identify anomalies, and optimize traffic flow. Network Design & Optimization: Plan and implement scalable network solutions to support business operations and future growth. Wireless Network Management: Oversee deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of Meraki wireless networks. Incident Response & Troubleshooting: Lead network troubleshooting efforts, resolve connectivity issues, and provide support for escalated network-related incidents. - Compliance & Best Practices: Ensure network infrastructure adheres to industry standards, security policies, and compliance requirements.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with third-party vendors and service providers to procure, implement, and maintain networking solutions.
- Documentation & Training: Maintain detailed network documentation and provide guidance to IT staff on networking best practices.
- Strong expertise in Cisco networking technologies (routers, switches, Nexus, ISE).
- Experience with Palo Alto firewalls and security rule configuration.
- Proficiency in Meraki wireless configuration, troubleshooting, and deployment.
- Hands-on experience with NetFlow or similar network traffic monitoring tools.
- Solid understanding of TCP/IP, VLANs, VPNs, EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, and firewall policies.
- Knowledge of network security principles, access control, and threat mitigation.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Industry certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, PCNSE (Palo Alto), or Meraki CMNA are highly desirable.
- Experience with cloud networking solutions (Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud).
- Knowledge of automation tools (Ansible, Python scripting) for network management.
- Familiarity with SD-WAN and Software-Defined Networking (SDN).
