POSITION SUMMARY: Enforces federal, state, and local laws and ordinances under general direction. Performs various duties to support law enforcement activities as well as provide service to the citizens in an efficient and professional manner.
PAY GRADE: 9 ($61,048.83 - $79,840.69) paid bi-weekly, depending upon experience and qualifications
LOCATION: Police Department
STATUS: Full-time, non-exempt, at-will, shift-work

Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED. Applicant must be certified and licensed in Texas as a Police Officer, hold a basic TCOLE certification, and have a valid Class “C” Texas driver’s license with an acceptable driving record. Applicants must pass a background investigation, interview, pre-employment physical, psychological (if required), and pre-employment drug screen tests; also have the ability to work any shift. Being bilingual in other languages is helpful.
