Public Health Nurse III
Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, delivers routine health care activities as provided by the Cleveland Department of Public Health. Collects data using conventional procedures. Conducts routine assessments. Makes nursing judgments. Administers treatments as ordered or per standing orders or protocols. Administers childhood immunizations. Assists with communicable disease follow-up and health promotion in the community. Provides basic counseling and education. Directs activities of Community Health Aides, interns, and clerical staff. Performs other related duties as required.A High School Diploma or GED is required. An Associate’s Degree in Nursing or a Diploma from an Accredited Nursing Program is required, a Bachelor’s Degree is preferred. Must possess a valid RN License and valid Ohio Driver’s License. One year of full time paid experience working as a Registered Nurse is required. Experience in Community Health Nursing and the ability to be bi-lingual is preferred.Supplemental Information:

- Supervisory Experience
- Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
- Experience with using Electronic Medical Record systems
