Aquatics Maintenance Lead
**Aquatics Maintenance Lead is a seasonal position**
Typically beginning mid-April through Mid-September with hiring and training beginning as early as November.
This position will perform a variety of maintenance duties pertaining to the overall operation and safety of Collinsville Aqua Park. The Aquatics Maintenance Lead is responsible for maintaining the waterpark amenities, grounds, and maintenance employees.
The Aquatics Maintenance Lead will perform the day-to-day maintenance operations as well as perform water chemistry checks, clean pools, and document all maintenance performed. They ensure proper appearance, cleanliness, and safety of the park, its features, and grounds. The Maintenance Lead also assists with the supervision and scheduling of staff and other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- 17 years of age or older
- 6 months of prior aid experience in municipal or commercial grounds and/or pool maintenance
- Ability to adapt quickly
- Individuals who are team-oriented with a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other software programs and to perform maintenance duties accurately and safely
Preference
Familiarity with the supervision and operation of pools, pool chemicals, backwashing, and filters.
Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate tasks to staff.
Bilingual in Spanish.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skills
- Ability to walk and/or stand on concrete for the majority of your shift
- Ability to bend to the floor and reach overhead
- Ability to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest height
- Ability to hear and see well

Pay Rate
This position is $17.00 per hour.
