The purpose of this job is to transport passengers in a passenger van on a demand-response system and provide customer service.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. - Operates and transports passengers in vans in varying weather conditions.
- Provides customer service and passenger assistance, including operation of wheelchair lift and securement devices.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma or equivalent.
Licenses or Certifications
- Valid Class E Chauffeur license.

Hours/Days
Various Monday – Saturday full shifts and split shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours every week. Shifts and days of week off are determined by bid and seniority. Shift and days off with current openings will be discussed during the interview.

The City of Columbia, Missouri is seeking full time, highly motivated and dependable individuals willing to provide safe, professional and customer focused public transit service. We have full 8 hour shifts and split shifts available.
Work a minimum of 40 hours per week, with the opportunity for overtime. The starting salary is a minimum of $16.07 per hour plus a shift differential of $1.00 per hour for all hours worked from 6:00 pm – 6:00 am.
