The purpose of this job is to perform semi-skilled tasks in vehicle maintenance.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities - The intent of this job description is to provide a representative summary of the major duties and responsibilities performed by employees in this job. - Evaluates and repairs tires for city fleet.
- Maintains inventory of repaired tires for fleet.
- Cleans and maintains workspace.
- Assists coworkers as needed.
- Regular attendance is a necessary and essential function.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Some experience in vehicle repair and maintenance.
Licenses or Certifications
- Class B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with no air brake restriction within 6 months of hire.
- Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification.
