Deputy Director of Finance
The City of Columbiana is seeking a highly skilled individual to work closely with the Director of Finance and assist in the finance operations of the municipality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director of Finance as needed, prepare deposits, review, code and process invoices and purchase orders for payment
- Work closely with utility billing clerks and oversee collection of utility accounts
- Complete related clerical duties
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- Minimum five years public sector finance experience
- Proficient in MS Office and Financial Management Software (Software Solutions VIP Software preferred)
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Must be bondable
