General Purpose
Join our dynamic team as a Golf Shop Assistant I / II, where you'll dive into the exciting world of golf! Under the mentorship of our Head Golf Professional and First Assistant Golf Professional, you'll be at the heart of our vibrant golf shop operations. From greeting guests with a smile to booking tee times and showcasing our fantastic merchandise, every day will be an adventure. You'll not only help maintain our shop displays but also get to promote our amazing golf programs and services. Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for the Golf Shop Assistant I is $16.55 - $18.97 per hour.
The hiring range for the Golf Shop Assistant II is $16.89 - $19.24 per hour.

Minimum Qualifications
Golf Shop Assistant I / II -
- High School / GED Diploma.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years of age.
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
- Must possess a valid Colorado Driver's license or ability to obtain one within 30 days of employment.

Recreation Center Membership : Employees are eligible for a membership to the Commerce City Recreation Center for $5.00 per year.
Golf Course Green Fees : Employees can play the City's award-winning Buffalo Run Golf Course at a rate of $9.00 for 9-holes or $18.00 for 18-holes. Employees can also purchase golf merchandise at discounted prices.
Benefits : The city monitors the hours worked for seasonal and variable hour employees. In the event that they work more than 1,560 hours within the ACA measurement period, they will be offered health benefits.
Wellness : Employees are eligible to earn up to $100 for participation in various wellness activities offered by the City throughout the year.
Eligibility for Pay Increases : Employees are eligible for a pay increase around the time of their annual appraisal following a successful evaluation.
