The IT Senior Systems Analyst partners closely with City departments to analyze business processes, identify technology needs, and manage technical projects from concept to implementation. This role is responsible for gathering and translating business and technical requirements into effective IT solutions that drive organizational success.
Serving as a trusted advisor, the IT Senior Systems Analyst is the primary subject matter expert for key applications and provides Tier 2/3 application support, ensuring departments have the technology and guidance needed to deliver exceptional service. This position fosters strong relationships, recommends innovative solutions, and champions continuous improvement, making a direct impact on the city’s mission and the communities it serves.
Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range is $104,000.00 - $113,000.00 / Annually

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or closely related field and at least six years of experience in similar role required. Extensive experience in technical analysis, Tier 2/3 application administration/support, project management, technical documentation and quality management is required. Experience in a similar role in local government is desired. Minimum of 1 certification required in any of the following areas: business analyst, project management or related technical/application. Experience and training in ITIL with ITIL Foundations Certification preferred. CJIS certified or ability to obtain certification within 30 days of employment. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills and abilities may be considered.
