We are excited to announce an opportunity to join our team as a Personal Trainer! As a Personal Trainer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing fitness programs that are goal-driven, safe, effective, and enjoyable. You will provide in-depth instruction on proper form and technique, fitness guidelines/recommendations, physiology and anatomy, exercise modifications, client motivation, and the monitoring and communication of client progress. Additionally, you will supervise clients, create a supportive exercise environment, and continue developing skills and knowledge.

Hiring salary is dependent upon experience.
The hiring range for Personal Trainer I is $25.64 - $28.53 per hour.
The hiring range for Personal Trainer II is $28.76 - $31.81 per hour
The hiring range for Personal Trainer III is $31.87 - $35.06 per hour.

- 1 year or less training experience

- 1-5 years training experience
All of the above plus:
- Nationally recognized personal trainer certification-ACSM, ACE, NASM or NSCA preferred, but others accepted as deemed appropriate
- More than 5 years training experience AND/OR Bachelor's Degree in exercise science or related field
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must have high knowledge of exercise science, nutrition and wellness
- Must be able to exhibit excellent technical skills to lead one on one or group personal training sessions
- Must be highly motivated and take direction well
- Must be able to use independent judgment while applying general organizational policies and values
- Must be able to adapt to varied customer service, equipment and work environment situations
- Must be willing to work a varied work schedule which may include evenings, weekends and holidays
- Must have no physical limitations regarding the lifting of items up to 50 pounds to assist participants with gathering appropriate equipment for class participation
