What are the responsibilities and job description for the Airport Line Technician position at City of Conway, Arkansas?
The Airport Line Technician performs line service duties, including parking aircraft, fueling aircraft, moving aircraft in and out of hangars, airport safety inspections, and customer service tasks including answer telephones, UNICOM radio, and other interactions with the public.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Must have and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver’s License and acceptable driving record.
- Ability to safely operate airport equipment including aircraft refuelers, tugs, towbars, GPU’s, etc.
- Ability to perform and document regular airport safety inspections.
- Ability to prioritize work tasks when working alone.
- Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 lbs.
- Must be willing to work in adverse physical environment (inclement weather, loud noises).
- Ability to maintain productive and cordial relationships with other airport employees, airport tenants, and the general public.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for interacting with the public
- Must be willing to work some weekends and/or holidays.
Previous airport line experience is preferred, but not required. Salary is $14.19 per hour with a maximum of 29 hours per week.
