The City of Conway is currently seeking candidates for the position of Assistant Sex Offender Coordinator – Victim Services Specialist in the Conway Police Department. This non-uniform role involves providing crucial services and assistance to citizens of Conway who have been victims of crime. The position also supports the Criminal Investigations Division and serves as a liaison for violent crime and domestic violence victims. Additionally, the Assistant Sex Offender Coordinator plays a key role in the coordination of the sex offender registry.
Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret law enforcement journals, criminal justice system reports, and legal documents.
- Effective communication skills with diverse backgrounds under crisis or stressful conditions.
