The City of Conway is accepting resumes for a professional Maintenance Manager who can oversee maintenance, cleanliness, and safety for the Conway Community Center.
Requirements:
- Ability to oversee all custodial and maintenance activities at the Community Center.
- Must have the ability to hire, train, and schedule custodial staff effectively.
- Must work cooperatively with the Aquatics Manager for routine water testing and chemical procurement.
- Ability to procure janitorial supplies and related materials.
- Experience in performing maintenance and repairs on pools, HVAC systems, and other mechanical systems.
- Ability to address safety concerns promptly and report them to the Community Center Director.
- Must be able to supervise contractors and ensure project completion.
- Ability to collaborate with other managers for event preparation, setup, and cleaning.
- Must maintain an updated MSDS book for applicable chemicals.
- Strong team building and customer service skills required.
- Must have Certified Pool Operator (CPO) certification.
- Associate’s degree and/or 4 years of aquatics maintenance experience required.
- 12-18 months of management experience preferred.
- Must have and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
- Must be available to respond to safety and maintenance issues during nights and weekends.
