Operations Manager

The City of Conway is accepting resumes for a professional Operations Manager who can oversee day-to-day non-aquatic operations at the Conway Community Center.

Requirements:

• Ability to oversee the non-aquatic aspects of the Community Center, including the Front Desk, Fitness Center, Gym Area, Community Lounge, Game Room, Party Rooms, Café, and Concessions.
• Must have the ability to recruit, hire, train, schedule, and manage a team of (2) Facility Supervisors, (2) Front Desk Attendants, (2) Facility Monitors, and 30-40 part-time staff.
• Must oversee the purchasing, stocking, staffing, and revenue reporting of the Café and Concessions.
• Ability to manage membership activities, including guest and member registration, check-ins, and account management.
• Must be proficient in using software systems for reservations and memberships.
• Ability to ensure readiness for Volleyball, Pickleball, Party Room, and other non-aquatic reservations.
• Must be able to recruit and schedule Volleyball/Pickleball leagues and tournaments.
• Ability to maintain the fitness area, ensuring machines and equipment are operating safely and appropriately.
• Strong collaboration skills to coordinate with other managers for special events, tournaments, swim meets, etc.
• Must assist the Community Center Director in budget development and management.
• Excellent customer service skills to respond professionally and promptly to patrons’ concerns and suggestions.
• Must have and maintain a valid Arkansas Driver’s License.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and city events as needed.
