Make a Difference This Summer as a Seasonal Camp Counselor with the City of Coppell!

Are you enthusiastic, energetic, and ready to inspire? Join our team as a Seasonal Camp Counselor and help create a summer full of fun, growth, and memorable experiences for our campers! Under the guidance of the Camp Director and Camp Lead, you'll lead recreational activities like sports, arts and crafts, and outdoor adventures while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

As a Camp Counselor, you'll serve as a role model, encouraging positivity and teamwork, while helping maintain a structured and engaging camp program. Whether guiding field trips, setting up activities, or assisting with camper drop-offs and pick-ups, you'll play an integral role in shaping an unforgettable summer.

Schedule Commitment

Works a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays, and nights during the summer season averaging 20-40 hours a week.

We are actively seeking candidates who can commit to our summer season from (May 19 - August 8).

Candidate Engagement Plan

We are actively accepting applications for our 2025 Summer Season from (May 19- August 8). Our hiring team will complete weekly application material review and connect with qualified candidates on the next steps of our hiring process between January-April; or until staffing needs are met.

Eligibility

Experience

  • 18 Years of age or older
  • High School Diploma / GED
  • Certification of CPR / FA is preferred; it will be required upon hire for continued employment.
  • Completion of training and orientation is required for continuing employment.

Knowledge / Skills / Abilities

  • Knowledge of City and Departmental standards, policies, and procedures, including Youth Program Standards of Care.
  • Possesses a passion for service and working with youth of all ages.
  • Ability and willingness to respect the direction of leadership and follow instructions.
