- Data consolidation/name merging via RMS software system.
- Scanning of all old homicide/sex battery cases.
- Records disposition (destruction of cases/shredding) and updating in computer.
- Process Records request from the public.
- Validation of reports (check in Onbase to make sure reports scanned correctly).
- Retrieve and return phone messages from staff that are out of the office.
- Back up to staff that are out of office including but not limited to the Police Department lobby.
- U.S. mail distribution for the Department.
- Mailing out notices and handle returned mail.
- Data entry of citations.
- Fulfill records requests for internal/external customers.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Three (3) to four (4) years of progressively responsible experience and/or training in administrative/secretarial support functions; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
- Ability to type a minimum of 40 WPM, operate programs such as the Microsoft Suite, and draft correspondence.
