Fire Captain

GENERAL PURPOSE : Under general supervision, supervises the operational readiness of staff and maintenance of equipment and facilities for an assigned shift at a Lake Cities Fire Department (LCFD) station; supervises, trains and leads firefighting and emergency medical teams to stabilize and control emergency incident scenes, and protect the lives and property of the City residents.
The Lake Cities Fire Department will be conducting a promotional process to establish an eligibility list for the position of Captain. All qualified applicants are encouraged to participate by submitting the following documentation by 1200 hours on 07 March 2025.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROMOTIONAL PROCESS :
Education and Experience by date of appointment :
High School diploma or GED equivalent; and Five (5) years paid (full-time) experience, including two (2) years with LCFD at rank of Driver Engineer.
