Attendance
Non-rotating 40-hour work week, Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 am - 5 : 00 pm; must be available to work additional hours as needed.

Overview
The Building Maintenance Technician is responsible for the general maintenance of the buildings and grounds at Heritage Park.
They will be responsible for maintaining the building and grounds by performing basic carpentry, electrical, painting, mechanical, A / C work, plumbing work, mowing, weeding, and landscaping.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic maintenance for Heritage Park facilities and grounds such as painting, mowing, edging, cleaning, and landscaping
- Perform basic electrical, plumbing, and carpentry maintenance in Heritage Park
- Perform basic A / C maintenance such as changing filters and cleaning outside units
- Assist with special events and rental setup and take down for Cultural Services
- Assure facility is properly cleaned before and after meetings
- Assist with monitoring of events on occasions
- Assist with custodial duties for division
- May be asked to perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Requires a High School Diploma / GED
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience
- A valid driver's license is required; successful out-of-state candidates must be able to obtain a valid Texas driver's license within 90 days of hire

Basis of Rating
Application review and the City may also conduct additional skill assessment tests, in addition to the panel interview.
