What are the responsibilities and job description for the 3 Month Streets Maintenance Worker position at City of Cottage Grove?
The City of Cottage Grove is now accepting applications for Full-time, Seasonal 3 Month Maintenance Workers in the Streets division. The position will start May/June and will end in August. 40 hours per week, hours will be Monday-Thursday 6:30am-3:30pm and Friday 6:30am-10:30am. The Streets position responsibilities include general care and maintenance of streets, right of ways and storm structures. Some duties may include but are not limited to mowing, tree trimming, weed whipping, patching, street striping, spraying weeds and landscaping.
- High school graduate or equivalent.
- 18 years of age.
- Valid driver's license.
- Formal education or practical experience in mowing and/or landscaping.
- Ability to operate hand and power tools and riding lawn mowers.
- Knowledge of the occupational hazards and safety practices of the trade, including trimmers and riding mowers.
Salary : $15 - $17
