Salary Range: 43,841/yr ($21.08/hr.)-63,021/yr ($30.30/hr.)
Sign On Bonus: Up to $2,000 Depending upon Qualifications

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Schedules and drives residential and business routes to collect and dispose of refuse and debris from containers, streets, alleys, etc. Cleans up spills and makes sure containers are properly positioned. Cross-trained on all Refuse trucks and routes, i.e., Automated Side Load truck, Front Load truck, and Rear Load truck. Repairs and maintains dumpsters and containers. Handles complaints and customer demands as quickly and efficiently as possible. Completes daily operator Colorado Department of Transportation (CDOT), pre-trip inspection checklist to ensure vehicles are safe and operable. Performs routine vehicle maintenance. Performs other duties as assigned.
DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum of two years’ experience in the operation of medium-weight trucks, previous refuse experience will also be considered.
SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS
Minimum Class B Colorado Commercial Driver's License (CDL), negative drug test, driving record check, must pass DOT physical, call outs. Alternate schedule for working some weekends and holidays.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or G.E.D.; and one year related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The employee regularly lifts and/or move up 25 pounds, and will occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, high or precarious places, fumes or airborne particles, toxic or caustic chemicals, risk of electrical shock, vibration, confined space, and traffic hazards. The employee is regularly exposed to outside weather condition, dampness, direct sunlight, dust, pollen, insect stings, and animals. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Involves moderate exposure to dangerous situations. Involves moderate exposure to stress due to the work environment and/or crisis situations.
MENTAL/MOTOR DEMANDS
Routine, repetitive tasks, concentration, awareness of traffic and pedestrians.
