Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Water Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operation, maintenance, and repair of water treatment equipment and systems. This role requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with various technologies related to water management. The Water Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and effectiveness of our water treatment processes.
Duties
- Operate and monitor water treatment equipment, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including troubleshooting and repairing mechanical issues.
- Analyze system performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement necessary adjustments.
- Build and maintain Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to enhance operational efficiency.
- Conduct inspections of water treatment facilities to ensure proper functioning and adherence to environmental regulations.
- Operate heavy equipment as required for maintenance tasks, including but not limited to pumps, valves, and filtration systems.
- Collaborate with team members to execute projects related to water treatment processes effectively.
Skills
- Proficient in equipment repair with a strong understanding of mechanical systems.
- Experience in heavy equipment operation is preferred.
- Ability to analyze system performance using logic controllers and other monitoring tools.
- Knowledge of water treatment processes and regulations.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the capability to perform heavy lifting as needed.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a logical approach to troubleshooting issues.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $21.08 - $30.30 per hour
