What are the responsibilities and job description for the Administrative Technician position at City of Cripple Creek?
This position performs a variety of administrative support functions, provides public information and assists with data entry, building permits, contractor licenses, recordkeeping and other needed tasks as they arise for the Planning and Community Development Department. Prior office experience required, with four years of increasingly responsible experience working with the public and knowledge of ICC Building Codes and building permitting systems and databases preferred. Must possess ICC Permit Technician Certification or obtain within 90 days. Computer skills including utilizing Microsoft Office Suite and effective communication skills required. Must be able to pass a background check and provide an acceptable motor vehicle record from any state in which a license has been held within the previous 3 years. Requires a valid Colorado driver's license or the ability to obtain one within 30 days and a high school diploma or GED.
