The City of Crystal Lake is seeking a self-motivated individual with a positive work ethic to fill the position of Administrative Intern for the summer months.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, assisting customers at the front counter, answering phones, filing, scanning, learning the various aspects of the department, and performing a variety of professional level related support duties.The successful candidate must be at least 18 years of age and possess a high school diploma or equivalent. The successful candidate should also possess excellent customer service and communication skills. Computer proficiency is also necessary.
The work schedule is 30 hours per week during core business hours of Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. The internship offer is contingent upon the candidate's successful completion of a criminal background check and a pre-employment medical exam, including a drug screen.
