Description
The City of Danbury is now hiring Park Attendants for the Summer 2025 season.
Park Attendants at Danbury Town Park play a key role in ensuring a positive visitor experience. Responsibilities include monitoring park areas, assisting guests with questions, enforcing park policies, maintaining cleanliness, and reporting any maintenance or safety concerns. Attendants will also help with event setup and breakdown, manage park amenities, and provide directions to visitors.
This position offers cross-training opportunities, allowing attendants to gain experience in different areas of park operations. Depending on scheduling and staffing needs, attendants may also have the opportunity to work at the spray park and / or lakefront, assisting with water-related activities, monitoring safety, and ensuring guests follow park guidelines.
Strong customer service skills, and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions are required.
