The City of Danbury is now hiring Security Officers for the Summer 2025 season.Security personnel are responsible for ensuring the safety and security of all visitors, staff, and facilities within Danbury Recreation properties. Duties include patrolling park grounds, enforcing park rules and regulations, monitoring for suspicious activity, assisting with emergencies, and providing excellent customer service to park guests. Security staff must respond promptly to incidents, work collaboratively with local law enforcement when necessary, and maintain detailed reports of any security-related concerns. Strong communication skills and the ability to de-escalate situations are essential.
