What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Coordinator | Part-time position at City of Davenport?
Under general supervision of the Ice and Turf Supervisor, this position performs work of a variety of difficultly assisting in the coordination of the daily operations to aid in the successful operation of the River’s Edge Sports Facility.
This position works closely with and reports directly to the River’s Edge Ice and Turf Supervisor as part of the core team that oversees the ice and turf amenities.
Averages 29 hours per week, primarily evenings and weekends. Facility is closed on July 4th, Thanksgiving and Christmas Day, work may be required on all other holidays dependent on facility rentals.

Interacts with customers as a representative of the Parks and Recreation Department, assisting them in the understanding of policies of the facility, answering general questions, and directing them to the resolution of their inquiry.
Assists/completes day to day cleaning and facility upkeep, including occasional snow removal.
Performs ice resurfacing, edging, and other light ice maintenance as required.
Upholds River’s Edge and City of Davenport policies and procedures with staff and facility patrons.
Performs other duties as assigned.On-the-job training will be provided.
Must pass a background check and physical as prescribed by the City of Davenport.
