Duties
- Plan and conduct gymnastics classes for various skill levels, ensuring a safe and supportive atmosphere.
- Educate students on proper techniques in gymnastics, cheerleading, martial arts, and climbing to enhance their skills.
- Implement behavior management strategies to maintain discipline and encourage positive participation among students.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them achieve their goals.
- Collaborate with other instructors to develop comprehensive training programs that promote overall health and fitness.
- Ensure the gym environment is clean, organized, and safe for all participants.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry standards.
Experience
- Previous experience as a gymnastics instructor or in a similar role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Background in related fields such as cheerleading, martial arts, or swimming is highly desirable.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage effectively with students of varying ages.
- Certification in lifeguarding or judo is a plus but not required.
- A genuine passion for teaching and helping others achieve their fitness goals is essential.
