Camp Dearborn in Milford, Michigan
MINIMUM AGE : 16 years
HOURS / PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT : Part-time position; Currently posting for positions during the golf season which usually starts in March. This is a 7-Day Operation during the golf season; Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Extended time off during the golf season is extremely limited. Must be available for an on-call, event related schedule during the off season.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION :
The employee performs a wide variety of duties as a Kitchen Assistant relating to the operation of the Mystic Creek Golf Course. Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited to, providing support to the food & beverage staff. Direction and assignments are delegated by golf course management.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to operate an automatic dishwasher and minor custodial equipment.
Ability to perform set up and take down duties.
Ability and willingness to perform routine tasks associated with the food & beverage operation.
Ability to service patrons by removing soiled dishes and utensils from tables as needed.
Ability to serve patrons, answer inquiries and provide assistance.
Ability to understand and follow oral and written instructions.
Ability to establish and maintain cooperative relationships with other employees and the general public.
Restaurant or food & beverage service experience desirable, but not required.
Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING / LICENSING REQUIREMENTS
EXAMINATION PROCEDURE :
Qualified applicants will be scheduled for an interview.
POST OFFER REQUIREMENTS : Satisfactory completion of criminal history, background check and a drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.
