PLACE OF EMPLOYMENT: Camp Dearborn in Milford, Michigan
MINIMUM AGE: 16 years
HOURS/PERIOD OF EMPLOYMENT: Seasonal position – Mid-April through Labor Day; This is a seven-day operation during the camp season where the employee must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays. Extended time off during this period is extremely limited. Shifts vary but cover afternoon and evenings.

GENERAL DESCRIPTION:
Prepares and serves concession-style foods, runs cash register, and is responsible for the general maintenance and cleanliness of the area and equipment.
NOTE: Other duties for employees with a valid driver’s license may include driving various Camp Dearborn vehicles.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- May prepare and serve food items.
- Collects money, makes change, and runs a cash register.
- Responsibility for the general maintenance and cleanliness of area and equipment.
- Communicates effectively.
- Follows oral and written instructions.
- Tactfully enforces rules and regulations.
- Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with others.
- Wears required uniform.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:
- Skill in accurately counting and recording cash transactions with speed.
- Previous customer service training with a positive attitude and outgoing personality.
POST-EMPLOYMENT OFFER REQUIREMENTS:
Satisfactory completion of background check and a pre-employment physical and drug screen that tests for illegal drugs as defined by the Federal Drug Free Workplace Act but not those legalized under Michigan law.
