Temporary/Seasonal Youth Positions
Employment Opportunity
Recreation Aide $13.00/hr (14 positions)
Recreation Assistant $16.29/hr (1 position)
The City of Deming is seeking youth applicants for the position of Recreation Aid to assist in a
6-week recreation program. Must be 16 or older.
All positions are part-time, and seasonal/ temporary. Work schedule is tentatively set for 7:00am
to 1:00pm, Monday through Thursday, beginning June 3rd. The applicant chosen for the
Assistant position may start work sooner.
Recreation Assistant helps the Director with establishing and organizing daily activities.
Recreation Aides will coordinate with the Director and Assistant to run the daily activities with
the program attendees.
Seasonal/Temporary positions do not offer employee benefits. Any individual offered
employment may be required to pass a pre-employment drug test.
