Performs concession and tournament work related to parks, recreational activities and special events.

- Arrives at scheduled time to prepare concession to be open on or before event begins.
- Provides friendly, pleasant service to patrons.
- Accurately inventories supply at open and close.
- Takes orders and provides concessions upon request.
- Handles food and drink in a sanitary fashion in compliance with Health Code.
- Accurately processes payments and tenders change as needed. Ensures that all cash/payments are well-accounted for and stored properly.
- Follows all sanitation and safety guidelines.
- Prepares food as needed and directed.
- Calls out complete orders to other staff and/or to customers.
- Cleans and maintains the equipment and facility throughout shift.
- Stocks additional supplies as needed.
- Informs supervisor of needed supplies.
- Performs duties in a safe manner and in compliance with policies, procedures, work and safety rules and the employee handbook.
- Restocks, cleans equipment, sanitizes concession area, removes trash, sweeps at the end of shift.
- Works special events as needed.
- Accurately records time worked.
- Other duties as assigned.
KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Knowledge of customer service practices.
- Knowledge and skill in basic cash handling processes.
- Knowledge of food service
- Ability to work weekends, holidays, and evenings.
- Ability to understand & follow simple oral and/or written instructions.
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other staff.
- Ability to follow directions.
- Ability to turn knobs, cook and prepare foods, operate a fryer and grill.
- Ability to maintain consistent attendance.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- Must have or be pursuing a high school diploma/GED
- Must be able to obtain a food handling and safety permit.
