Responsible for assisting with supervision of activities related to the food and beverage operations.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

DUTIES
- Assist with training, supervising, and ensuring concession facilities adhere to all applicable regulations and health codes, especially food handling.
- Assist with monitoring, tracking, and ensuring controls for food and beverages purchases.
- Assist with monitoring food and beverages inventory; provide order recommendations to leadership.
- Ensure assigned areas maintain cleanliness and food and/or beverages are stored appropriately.
- Perform all opening procedures with concessions staff, including but not limited to, preparation of concession facility and products for daily shift.
- Serve food items to guests during operations and special events.
- Resolve guest concerns in a courteous and professional manner; notify leadership immediately if not able to resolve customer concerns.
- Perform job functions of the Concessions Manager in their absence.
- Assist with selection, training, supervising, and evaluating staff; recommend assignment/assignment change, retention, discipline, and dismissal.

- High School Diploma or equivalent; and,
- Two (2) years’ experience in customer service, food handling, or related field; and,
- Three (3) months of supervisory experience in food handling,

- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.

- Must have and maintain a valid Class “C” Driver’s License and valid state required minimum automobile liability insurance prior to employment (must obtain Texas Class “C” driver’s license and state required minimum automobile liability insurance within 90 days of hire per state law).
- Must pass a drug test, driver’s license check, criminal history background check, and social security number verification.
- Must pass a physical examination.
- Must be at least seventeen (17) years of age.
- Must acquire job specific certifications as determined by program
- Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment; ensure equipment is in safe operating condition.
- Follow established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties including lifting and climbing; operate tools and equipment according to established safety procedures.
- Promptly report unsafe conditions in work area and/or any conditions that are not immediately correctable to supervisor.

- Tools/Equipment Used: Standard office equipment, including computer and peripherals; food service equipment.
- Posture: Prolonged sitting and standing; frequent reaching, stooping, squatting, kneeling, bending, pushing/pulling, and twisting.
- Motion: Frequent repetitive hand motions.
- Lifting: Lifting no more than 50 pounds and carrying no more than 25 pounds.
- Environment: Works inside and outside with exposure to inclement weather, climate-controlled environment, noise, debris, odor, and chemicals; occasionally requires irregular and/or prolonged hours.
- Travel: Travels to City of Denton buildings and professional meetings as required.
- Attendance: Regular and punctual attendance at the worksite is required for this position.
- Must be able to work overtime or outside of normal business hours, as required.
- Must be available for position trainings during the designated timeframe outlined for program.
- Must be able to work the designated summer seasonal program schedule, dates will adjust annually, Sunday – Saturday, 7 days per week with shift times varying between 7:00 am and 12:00 am (midnight).
- Must work the Citywide special event, date will adjust annually.
- Must be able to work on a rotating schedule seven (7) days per week.
