DUTIES
- Meet with internal stakeholders to proactively discuss and identify needs and improvement opportunities; provide technology guidance and its efficient use.
- Develop and document technical requirements to be used in the procurement and implementation of future technology; ensure that business needs are clearly defined, understood, and accurately translated into technical requirements.
- Present and advocate for existing technology solutions; address the department needs while ensuring efficient use of technology.
- Coordinate across internal customers, technical personnel, and leadership regarding all aspect of IT projects and service delivery
- Conduct quarterly customer meetings for assigned customer portfolio; facilitate effective conversations around IT services, updates, issues, and ongoing projects.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to articulate future technology proposals that provide data-driven analysis of long-term costs and benefits to the City of Denton associated with new technology.
- Provide a broad range of industry expertise and insight regarding best practices and advantages to incorporating technology.
- Perform life-cycle assessments on existing application systems.

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Relationship Management, or a related field; and,
OR
- High School Diploma or equivalent; and,
- Five (5) years’ experience in application, systems support, or related field,
OR
- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications, and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job.

CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Must pass a drug test, driver’s license check, criminal history background check, and social security number verification.
