Responsible for set-up and clean-up of birthday party area, greeting and assisting guests, serving food and beverages, and assisting with party games. Essential Functions:
- Responsible for working scheduled parties and events at Water Works Park and Denton Natatorium
- Greet guests and help bring in and store gifts
- Responsible for all set up and clean up for booked parties
- Serve food and beverages to all party guests
- Maintain positive relationships with all employees and supervisors
- Follows established City of Denton policies and procedures
- Must have ability to deal with guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Directs all guests to areas throughout Water Works Park and the Denton Natatorium
- Attend all staff meetings and trainings as required
- Maintain regular and punctual on-site attendance
- Performs other duties as assigned
- Must be at least 16 years of age
- Minimum of one-year experience with customer service
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and have an outgoing personality
- Any combination of related education, experience, certifications and licenses that will result in a candidate successfully performing the essential functions of the job
- Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to form and maintain effective relationships with coworkers and customers
- Ability to deal with guests in a courteous and professional manner
- Must enjoy interacting with children and parents
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
- Bilingual in Spanish and English
- Must pass a drug test, social security verification, and criminal history background check
- Must be able to work weekends
- Must pass a physical examination
