Description
This is not a Civil Service Position. DWSD employees are subject to provisions of Court Orders entered in United States District Court, Eastern District of Michigan, Southern Division, Case No. 77-71100 with regard to certain terms and conditions of employment. DWSD does not honor reversion rights for internal candidates.
SUMMARY :
IT requires an Applications Analyst 2 (Integrations) with experience in working with Databases in multi-cloud,
tenant environments to design, develop support and document data flows from line of business
applications to other line of business applications or to DWSD's data warehouse. A solid knowledge
of T-SQL, PL / SQL. Java and python is required.
Experience in both large and high frequency data loads, techniques and optimization methods is a plus. Collaborate with IT to design and model application data structures, storage and integration in accordance with enterprise wide architecture standards across legacy, web, and cloud and purchased package environments.
Developing and executive text plans and scenarios including data design, tool design, data extract / transform, networks and hardware. Ensure compliance with HIPPA, PCI, PII, Federal and State required data policies / best practices as required. Ensure appropriate capture and retention and metadata management of data. Knowledge of web technologies that facilitate the exchange of information between organization such as (S)FTP(S), REST, SOAD, JSON, etc. is a plus.
Ability to write
technical and non-technical document, communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, and
provide technical support resolving incidents, and
creating / closing tickets.

Assist other IT staff and IT management as needed with overflow activities involving the support and maintenance of computers, printers, applications, databases, networks, servers, storage, and data center facilities, and the installation, decommissioning, and relocation of related IT equipment. Perform related work duties as assigned.
