The City of Dickinson is seeking a dynamic and experienced Construction Project Manager to lead critical infrastructure projects that shape our community’s future. Salary Range: $85,011.60 - $119,036.76 per year (DOE) Sign-On Bonus!
Schedule: Monday - Friday, with rotating on-call duties while still offering flexibility and support for work-life balance.What You’ll Do:
Lead & Oversee: Manage construction projects within the City of Dickinson’s Right-of-Way.
Collaborate: Work closely with the City Engineer on capital improvement projects and new developments.
Ensure Quality: Conduct inspections, maintain quality control, and uphold the highest safety standards.
Build Relationships: Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and the public to sustain our city’s infrastructure.
Education & Experience: Preferred: Bachelor’s in Engineering or Construction Management 5 years in construction engineering (3 in leadership). Without Degree: 7 years of relevant experience (5 in leadership).
Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of construction standards, materials, and safety regulations.
Certifications: North Dakota Safety Council Flagger Certification , North Dakota Department of Transportation Erosion and Sediment Control Certification, North Dakota Department of Transportation Technical Certification Program, American Public Works Association Certified Public Infrastructure Inspector Certification (all within one year of hire)
Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams, manage projects, and mentor others.
