Performs a variety of technical work in the development, maintenance, and support of web-base content and web applications development for use by the City and the public.

- Develops / Integrates SOA applications using an N-Tier Architecture and .NET WCF Services.
- Implements web applications using the MVC design pattern.
- Design and implement databases in Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 and above.
- Implement reports using SQL Server Reporting Services.
- Maintain the City of Doral Performance Dashboard
- Integrate data repositories with the City of Doral Performance Dashboard
- Assist departments in the implementation of performance measures.
- Ensures data security and integrity through the implementation and monitoring of tools/services for data encryption, secure sockets layer and public/private key authentication.
- Implements secure (encrypted) connection to access sensitive site information.
- Monitors web performance and web services availability.
- Interacts with clients to develop web-based technology solutions.
- Investigates, evaluates, and recommends, pilot programs and implements evolving technologies and techniques associated with the support of the web site and the development of web content.
- Specifies display standards for all web based documents and ensures that submitted documents are in compliance with established standards; converts documents to meet standards.
- Advises management of internet technologies and trends; recommends strategies for agency web site planning.
- Coordinates with clients in order to continually improve web-based content and applications.
- Develops graphic content for use with web sites.
- Performs other related work as required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or related area and one year of experience in designing and implementing web based systems.
- 1-3 years of experience with C# and ASP.NET, Entity Framework, WCF Services, Unit Testing, and Visual Studio 2010 and above.
- Strong knowledge of SQL Server
- Demonstrated ability to design and implement web based systems.
- Demonstrated ability to integrate and interface database systems with web front ends.
- Ability to get along with others and work effectively and courteously with the public and fellow workers.
- Ability to communicate in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive matters.
- Must be computer literate with knowledge of Microsoft Word, WordPerfect or similar programs.
- Ability to perform several tasks at one time.
- Must be a non-smoker.
- The minimum requirements may be waived by the City Manager.
Salary : $72,346 - $115,754
