Are you a self-starter and problem solver who works well independently and in group settings? The City of Dover is currently seeking qualified applicants for the position of part-time Building Supervisor in the Parks and Recreation Department. This position is responsible for the management and operation of the Dover Park Community Center (DPC Center).
Job Responsibilities
· Open and close the DPC Center
· Lead part-time staff
· Handle request from users
· Enforce rules and regulations of the DPC Center
· Responsible for in-depth knowledge of the Emergency Action Plan to carry out duties and will render first aid in emergencies.
Required Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required
· Excellent customer service skills and able to work well with the public
· Experience with Microsoft Office
· Knowledge of recreational activities
Preferred Qualifications
· Experience with community or group activities
