The City of Dublin offers seasonal maintenance job opportunities in many of our public service-oriented divisions. Successful candidates gain valuable knowledge and experience through training, both on the job and through formal instruction, while working with a highly tenured and expert staff.
Pay Rate Information
- Starting pay rate for new hires is $17.00 / hour
- Starting pay rate for new hires with a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) is $20.40 / hour
- Per our policy, employees are hired into the established wage structure and therefore pay is non-negotiable
- Returning employees will progress to the next step in our wage structure to receive a raise with each year of consecutive service
- Individuals that obtain their CDL while employed with us will be eligible for a pay increase, pending all DOT requirements are met

Our season lasts up to approximately 1500 hours. Seasonal employees are eligible for overtime and compensatory time. Seasonal employees are also eligible for the instant bonus program providing all terms and conditions are met.
