Class Concept
Under the direction of the Membership Services Coordinator, the Outdoor Pool Service Manager handles the operation of the front desks located at the Dublin Community Outdoor North and South Pools.
Scheduling/Availability
- A flexible scheduling process is utilized with a variety of shifts available.
- The nature of this position may require the successful candidate to work a variety of hours including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- The successful candidate must be available to begin work in late May and average 10-15 hours per week through Labor Day.

Examples of Duties
Duties of the Outdoor Pool Service Manager include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for the day to day operations of the front desks located at our outdoor pool facilities
- Scheduling, payroll approval and overall management of outdoor front desk staff
- Training staff on how to properly use and operate the front desk and adhere to policies/procedures
- Ensuring staff are properly trained on all relevant computer software and cash handling/deposit protocols
- Ability to troubleshoot with front line staff during operating hours
- Collaboratively work with Concession Manager and/or Pool Managers
- Ensuring customer service standards are met
Typical Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age by May 24, 2025
- Possession of a valid driver’s license
- At least one (1) year of customer service/management experience
- Ability to effectively and courteously communicate with the public
- Prior experience with the City of Dublin in one or more of the following areas: Outdoor Pool Front Desk, Outdoor Pool Concessions, DCRC Front Desk
- Experience with RecTrac software
- Experience managing a team of 10-15 staff members
- Significant experience in a similar role
