Position Summary
GENERAL SUMMARY : Under supervision, landscape or maintain grounds of parks using hand or power tools or equipment performing a variety of tasks, which may include any combination of the following : mowing, trimming, planting, watering, fertilizing, digging, raking, and sprinkler repair; maintenance, repair and upkeep of park facilities and areas maintained by the Park Division; and perform related work as required.

Job Duties
- Dispose of trash or waste materials.
- Operate grounds maintenance equipment; and manual and power tools.
- Drive trucks or other vehicles to or at work sites.
- Irrigate lawns, trees, or plants; and flower beds.
- Trim vegetation.
- Maintain equipment, vehicles or systems to ensure proper functioning.
- Cultivate lawns, turf, or gardens.
- Maintain sports field surfaces.
- Clean facilities or sites including buildings, restrooms and park pavilions.
- Remove debris from work sites.
- Keep time card and other records.
