POSITION: Police Chief

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year college or university in Criminal Justice, Accounting, Sociology, Social Work, Psychology or related field;
OR
Graduation from standard four-year high school or equivalent;
AND
Five (5)-Ten (10) years of work-related experience.
Note: In all cases, the applicants must possess a valid certificate of completion from the Mississippi Board for Law Enforcement Standards and Training.
Applicants must have typing skills and have knowledge in using Microsoft Word and Power Point.
Applicants must be 21 years of age or older and Possess a Valid Mississippi Driver’s License.
Applicants must not have been convicted of a Felony charge or convicted of Misdemeanor charges of DUI or Domestic Assault.
Applicants must be able to work alternating shifts. (Day shift is preferred.)
