We are seeking a highly skilled Full-Time Mechanic to join our team at the City of East Grand Forks Public Works Department.
Job Description:
The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in truck mechanics, auto and light truck mechanics, or a related field. A moderate level of experience working on equipment is required, as well as an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a variety of vehicles and equipment
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes and tire rotations
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical issues
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Associates/Technical degree in truck mechanics, auto and light truck mechanics, or a related field
- Commercial drivers license (must be obtained within a reasonable timeframe)
