What are the responsibilities and job description for the P.A.C.E. Officer - Part Time position at City of East Lansing?
Enforces parking regulations and select City Nuisance Violations, taking appropriate measures to correct the situation and issue citations accordingly.
Patrol areas regularly to identify violations.
Work with property owners to bring property into compliance; maintain, document and tabulate violations and activities.
As necessary, testify in court regarding parking or code violations.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; prior experience desirable.
Must also possess an unrestricted Michigan driver’s license and have an excellent driving record.
Must be able to meet and deal effectively, professionally, and courteously with others; be resourceful, alert and capable of exercising initiative and good judgment.
Must also be able to pass a very thorough police background investigation.
Additionally, to perform the essential functions of the job, an individual will be involved in walking, standing, bending, twisting, and stooping for long periods of time during the work shift in all types of weather conditions.
