SPECIAL NEEDS RECREATION CAMP LEADER
PART-TIME/SEASONAL
$16.50 per hour / NO BENEFITS
The City of East Providence are currently hiring part-time recreational staff for our 2025 summer programs to conduct recreation activities such as arts and crafts, sports, special events and day camp.
Mature individuals needed to supervise and assist developmentally and physically delayed youth and young adult participants of recreation summer programs. Must be prompt and responsible. Duties include implementation and coordination of athletic and artistic activities; chaperoning field trips and special events; and assisting participants as needed. Provide for safety, order, and must maintain discipline at all times. Work 25 - 35 hours per week beginning June 19– August 1, 2025, Monday – Friday 9:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.
Minimum Qualifications: Must be at least 18 years of age or graduating High School in 2025. Some experience in supervising and working with special needs youth.
