SENIOR ENGINEER (PUBLIC WORKS / ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT)
SALARY RANGE $127,609.72 - $159,367.05 Annually$10,634.14 - $13,280.59 Monthly$61.35 - $76.62 Hourly
SALARY RANGE - COLA Starting July 1, 2025 : $132,076 - $164,944 AnnuallyStarting July 1, 2026 : $136,698 - $170,717 Annually

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION : Graduation from an accredited college or university with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
EXPERIENCE : Four or more years of responsible professional civil engineering experience, including experience with public works projects and three years of supervisory experience.
CERTIFICATIONS : Possession of a current Professional Civil Engineer License in California.
THE POSITION
The Senior Engineer will serve as a key member of the City’s Public Works / Engineering Department and is tasked to lead and manage multiple transformative projects that enhance the quality of life for the residents of the City of Eastvale.
In this role, you will oversee the planning, design, and construction of complex capital improvement projects, including transportation, drainage, and public infrastructure. You’ll manage budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery while maintaining the highest standards. Acting as a technical expert and liaison, you’ll collaborate with city leadership, developers, and contractors, while collaborating with a talented team of engineers.
