What are the responsibilities and job description for the Deputy City Clerk position at City of Eau Claire?

We are currently accepting applications for the Deputy City Clerk position. This position organizes and administers all federal, state, county, city, and school district elections within the City limits according to federal, state and local regulations. In the absence of the City Clerk, acts as City Clerk and performs all duties and responsibilities in a prompt, efficient and lawful manner.
Requirements:
- A minimum of an associate degree in political science, paralegal/legal studies, business, or a related field OR a minimum of two years of relevant work experience
- Possess or obtain (within 60 days of hire) and maintain election certification from Wisconsin Elections Commission.
- Possess or obtain (within 30 days of hire) and maintain a valid Wisconsin driver’s license.
Additional Reasons to Apply:
